It was emotional because after resuing her he ends up without his memory. The scene where he hobbles to get the boot with the plant in it was very sad because he wanted to give the boot to her before he died. The close up shot really helped these scenes because you couldn't see the characters emotion if it wasn't a close up shot.She kept trying to get him to remember her but he coudn't. He started acting like a normal robot instead of one that had feelings for Eve. Wall-e ignored her every attempt to get him to remember, and her eyes showed all of the emotions she went through during these attempts. She even held his hand, which she had never done before. All thoughout the movie he showed that he liked he but he barely got a response until the end when he lost his memory. It was sad because he was getting what he wanted from her, but he didn't recognize her. In the beginning of the scene the lighting was dark.

This class was way too much for me. It would have helped if I  learned how to model human faces before this class from the modeling course I took before this. This class was very fast paced class but I learned more in this class than I did in previous digital classes. There were so many things that I had to do for this class that I couldn't keep up. We went through most of the production pipeline ,which made this class like a crash course to animation. I had trouble from the beginning which set me back early on. My first story didn't have enough meaning, and it had a lot of plot holes, so I scraped it and made a whole new story.  Which set me behind and made it harder to keep up with the class.The new story I made was  a story I that  made up to keep up with the class. So my first challenge was writing a story and my second one was modeling and rigging. I learned more about rigging from this class and why certain things had to be a certain way. If I were to take this class again I would come up with a better story and  drop one of my 3 studios or my art history.
